Assessment complete

Start with a professional opinion.

What you have described needs a trained eye. Before you spend money on any treatment, ours included, it is worth knowing exactly what is driving it.

She will look at your scalp and your answers and tell you what is actually going on, and what would genuinely help. Whether or not that ends with us.

No product and no pitch. If she thinks something else will help you more, she will say so.

Why your answers pointed here

Red light works on follicles that are still producing hair, even fine colourless hair. It does not act on skin where hair has already stopped, and it does not touch causes that come from somewhere other than the follicle.

Your answers sit outside that. It does not mean nothing will help. It means the next step is finding out what.

What happens in the consultation

She looks at your scalp, asks what you have already tried and how long this has been going on, and tells you what she thinks is actually driving it.

If it is something a GP or a dermatologist should see, she will say so and tell you what to ask for. If it is something she can help with directly, she will explain what that involves.

It takes about 20 minutes, happens over video call / photos you send in advance, and costs nothing.

What red light does and does not do

It puts TripleWave red light into the scalp, where it reaches follicles that are still producing hair, including hair that has gone fine and colourless. It works slowly and it only works with consistent use over months.

It does not treat a medical cause of hair loss, it does not replace a diagnosis, and it does not bring hair back from skin where the follicle has already gone.

That is the whole of it. It is a narrow tool that works inside a narrow window, which is why the assessment turns people away rather than selling to everyone.
